Method before mythology
A field guide for people who operate systems.
AI Mastery Brief builds practical AI fluency from first principles through production architecture, performance, security, and failure.
Audience
Assume systems knowledge. Teach the AI-specific machinery.
The brief is written for experienced SRE, DevOps, SecOps, and distributed-systems practitioners. It does not spend three paragraphs rediscovering queues before discussing inference scheduling.
Curriculum
Seven days, one compounding rotation.
Fundamentals, retrieval, inference, agents, evals, security, and architecture review recur weekly so the material accumulates instead of becoming random AI confetti.
Evidence
Sources support claims, not decoration.
News prioritizes primary documentation, research, model cards, advisories, and regulatory text from the preceding 24–72 hours. Analysis is labeled as analysis; uncertainty is not sanded off for a cleaner headline.
Publication
AI-assisted, structurally validated, still fallible.
Each edition passes schema, citation, duplication, route, and build checks before publication. That catches mechanical failure. It does not confer omniscience, because nothing does and vendors should stop implying otherwise.
Corrections
Stable dates, visible changes.
A material correction updates the same dated route and receives a visible correction note. Prior dates are never silently recycled as new work.
